These little caps, top hats, went on top of the shifter and throttle cables in the headset of many Pre-P-series Vespas. They keep the cable outer in the bracket in the headset. They also went on the top of the clutch and front brake cables of a few bikes as well. Some of the brackets that required them are listed in the related products below.
