Shock spacers come in a few different length to help get the right height of your bike so thing like ride, with and without passengers, and making up for performance shocks which may be short or longer than the original stock. Sometimes you may need to shorten the rear shock to change the angle of the engine for larger performance pipes that interfere with the centerstand.
