This cruciform was used from the mid 80s until the current day. This flat cruciform is commonly reffered to as an EFL cruciform. The cruciform is the highest wear component of the transmission in a vintage Vespa, and it is highly recommended that this part be replaced whenever the engine cases are opened. Don't forget to check the spindle for damage as well.
