This sediment style of fuel tap was used on Vespas up to the mid 70's but as gas storage and cleanliness improved the need for this type of fuel tap became obsolete and was replaced with a better flowing model.

If you think you need the sediment bowl model because of you dirty gas tank, you need to clean or replace your tank, a fuel tap or filter isn't going to cure your fuel flow problem from a gross tank.
